Started in 2020, Rising Stars Basketball was formed as an organization that placed an emphasis on player development. The primary audience was tribal members in Northern Wisconsin. We identify as the only Native-American Basketball Club in the Midwest. However, we quickly found that there are 50-75 additional athletes every year looking for similar opportunities. So, we opened it up to everyone.

In just our third year, we have produced two Division 1 NAIA collegiate athletes, three all conference performers, and 13 invitations to showcase camps and tournaments

We have also pursued licensing and certification from various governing bodies from USA Basketball, Jr NBA, NAYS, NFHS and SafeSport - to name a few.

We want to make sure the parents and community alike can see the investment into Rising Stars producing returns within just our third year.

Miigwech to the LCO Tribal Governing Board for making this opportunity even more affordable for our tribally enrolled families. Presenting the check for 12 membership fees are Chairman Louis Taylor, Secretary-Treasurer Tweed Shuman, and Don Carley.
