The Player-Centered Basketball Skill Development Program For Everyone

Skip the try-outs, and join us for team practices, camps, and skill development workouts you can implement in our summer circuit of competitive tournament play.

We don't recruit players - We make them.

Rising Stars coaches have been certified and trained by USA Basketball, SafeSport, and Jr. NBA to ensure we hold the highest ethical standards for youth development and the game of basketball.

All practices and games implement the curriculum from these governing bodies to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Drills, and competitive games are age-appropriate, and as well provide elements of values and wellness.

Rising Stars Basketball follows the development structure for all age groups from 6-8, 9-11, 12-13, and 15-18. The various levels include the following:

Basketball Tournaments

Skills Camps

Off-Season Programs

Individual Workouts

3 Level Scorer Camp

On April 16, 2022 Rising Stars Basketball began their annual Skills Camp Series that goes from April to mid-May. The Skills Camp series includes four (4) skills camps revolving around ball handling, passing, shooting, scoring, and finishing at the rim.

The 3 Level Scorer Camp brought out 25 athletes from Winter, Hurley, Birchwood, Ashland, Bayfield, Hayward, and Lac Courte Oreilles Schools.

The athletes spanned from ages 12 to 17, the athletes all made over 400 game-speed shots, and spent a total of four (4) hours working on skill drills.

The event was a great turnout and had great feedback from parents and players alike. The next skills camp is on April 24th at the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School, whereas we'll cover the "Attack the Rack" scoring camp. Players from ages 12-17 will learn how to use various movements to score against defenders and breakdown defenses.
