Rising Stars Basketball in Hayward Wisconsin provides top-tier basketball programming for athletes in Northern Wisconsin.
We welcome athletes from the following conferences:

Heart O' North
Indianhead
Lakeland East

All of the schools in these conferences are within 90 minutes of Hayward and make it an easy drive to attend practices, camps, and weekend workouts.

Garding Against Cancer Champs 2024

The Rising Stars 16U group took home the championship from the Garding Against Cancer Classic, an annual fundraiser hosted by Wisconsin Badger's Coach, Greg Gard.

This 2024 event was a landslide victory for Rising Stars and the championship game was a 20+ point victory. Rising Stars, no try-outs, no cutting players, and no recruiting went on to win the Greg Gard Charity Tournament in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Athletes from Hayward and Winter form the Rising Stars 16U team. The week prior, the Rising Stars 16U boys team was in the championship game against Chippewa Valley Select for back to back weeks in the championship game(s).

Pizza Pub Shootout Champions 2023

Rising Stars Silver (16U Boys) took home the championship from the Pizza Pub Shootout. Just the week before, they placed 2nd in the Garding Against Cancer Shootout with a 3-0 finish, but were edged out via point differential. The Pizza Pub Shootout brought out more local club teams from the area, versus the powerhouse teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Illinois, and proved to be some great competition. We took the down the likes of Wisconsin Playmakers, Just-a-Game Select, and Wisconsin Blizzard, to name a few.

Kalahari Resorts Shootout Champions 2023

Rising Stars Black (14U Girls) finished out the season on a good note with a 3-0 finish at the Kalahari Resorts Shootout. Led by Coach Hootie Hautamaki this 14U girls group played 'fast and furious' all summer long, focusing on developing their skills and ability to play at a fast pace. They pressured the ball and gave teams fits on defense.

Registration for 2024 now is open

We're looking to fill our rosters as quickly as possible. Registration is open until March 22, 2024 but the sooner we can fill up rosters, the quicker we can get coaches, gym space, and more helpers.

2024 3-on-3 League Registration

Level up your game with our Rising Stars Basketball 3-on-3 League.

This league is for boys and girls in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.
Get an early jump on player develop for your young athletes as Rising Stars Basketball helps them learn how to handle the basketball fluidly with either hand, shoot with proper form and mechanics, as well as scoring at the rim with either hand. Rising Stars Basketball will also cover attacking the basket, proper footwork, and game IQ. Join us for a program unlike any others, and help your young athletes level up their game.
