Crossover Crew 2022 Registration (CLOSED)

This program is for children in Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade, exclusively.

Our primary focus is to introduce the kids to the game of basketball through a series of fun games, skill drills, and skills competitions. Most of our practices will be spent working with the kids on passing and catching, bouncing and dribbling the ball through a series of cones, obstacles, and from base-line to base-line. We lower the baskets to 8 ft and allow the kids to work on their shooting form through a series of shooting games.

This is purely for fun as it introduces the children to the game, getting comfortable with the ball, and seeing some successes with making their first shot, winning dribble knock-out, around-the-world, or other fun games we play together.

This is the 6th time we have ran this in the last 10 years. We took a brief hiatus to train higher level athletes, but we're back to bring this to the Hayward/LCO community.
