Winter Warrior's Girls Basketball Loaded with Achievement

Winter Wis - The Winter Warrior’s Girls Basketball team has three Seniors on this year’s squad; Cassie Bishop, Hailey Coss, and Kate Pasanen.  The Lady Warriors are sitting at an 8-10 record after the previous 92-58 win over the Birchwood Bobcats.  

On Thursday, January 5th, 2023, we were able to see Cassie Bishop pull down her 500th career rebound at home against Flambeau.   Cassie is currently averaging 9.9 rebounds and 7.4 points per game.  Cassie took home a 500 rebound basketball, and a spot in Winter Warrior Girls Basketball history. 

On Friday, January 6th, 2023, we watched Hailey Coss eclipse the 1,000 point mark to join the 1,000 point club.  Hailey finished the game with 10 points, and took home a 1,000 point basketball, and a spot in the WIAA record books.  

On January 24th, 2023, we watched Kate Pasanen also eclipse the 1,000 point mark to join the 1,000 point club.  Kate finished the game with 28 points, and took home a 1,000 point ball, and a spot in the WIAA record books.  ​

The Winter Warriors final stretch includes 6 games; 3 home and 3 on the road.

February 14 at Cornell
February 17 vs New Auburn
